Because the logic is circular


Every chicken was an egg

Every egg was laid by a chicken

That's how reproduction works



The origin of replication and production

Of DNA and gene products

Such as RNA and protein

Can be viewed as such a problem too


Every new instance of

Replication and production in a cell

Is a product of past

Replications and productions


Many think RNAs came first

In that there are organisms

Where RNA can carry out

Functions of DNA and RNA


But perhaps it is not so simple

As in most organisms

The circularity is unbreakable

And we geneticists have to deal with it



Are there any other such examples
